Who sets us up?
We use both resellers and our sister company SupportsIT to setup customers onsite. We also setup customers through remote access which is our preferred method. On both occasions you are more than welcome to attend so that you can answer questions and see what we are doing. How long does the setup take?
The actual software setup takes between 20 minutes and an hour. It purely depends on how much you are backing up. If the backup is quite large then it will be necessary to create a seed load backup first. This means that we put your encrypted files onto a portable hard disk and then upload them directly from within the data centre. This saves the time of having to wait for the data to upload over the course of a few days. If the total amount of data to backup is under 20GB then it is possible to let the first backup run over a weekend via the internet. All subsequent backups are incremental which means that only the changed files are uploaded. This means that the backup will take very little time to complete. Where is you data stored?
We have two data wharehouses. One is situated in a secure data centre (Interxion) in Park West, Dublin and the other is located on the North of the city in a data centre in Clonshaugh. The Park West centre replicates all of the data that it holds to the Clonshaugh site. This means that we always have two copies of your encrypted data. What is the difference between you and A.N.OTHER BACKUP?
There are a number of technological and business differences:
Our entire storage system is configured using RAID5 and RAID6 technology meaning that we can lose half of our disks at once, due to failure, and still have 100% service and uptime. Most of our competitors (as far as we know) only mirror their disk systems.
We do not differentiate between software versions, or charge more for extra features. Our software backs up everything that you need to be backed up. You only pay for the data plan that you choose.
Our technicians are Microsoft Certified Professionals and we are Microsoft Small Business Specialists which means that we are qualified look after your data backup.
We offer FREE "man with a van" services in case you need your data in a hurry. If that's the case, we will drive to the data centre and collect your data and then deliver directly to you. You'll only have to pay for the courier if you are outside of Dublin. We'll even help your IT professional to get the data back onto your new system. How do I sign up?
